Russia (M) and Canada (W) won the ice hockey gold at the 25th FISU Winter Universiade in Erzurum, Turkey, a multi-sport event for student-athletes. 12 men's teams and 6 women's team participated in the ice hockey tournament resulting in 57 games during 11 days. 2,483 participants from 52 countries took part in these University Games.
